What American Men Are Like: Introduction

If you are an American, don't bother reading...you know what you are dealing with at a quick glance. Regardless of your educational level or your social skills, you are an adept reader of the typical American male; how much money he makes, how educated he might be, if he's in a relationship, or how sociably acceptable he is. You know it because you're around our men all the time and can pick up on his subtle clues as to who he is in our society.

This blog is for foreign women. It's an insider's scoop into what you're really seeing when you look at an American man when you're visiting - and whether or not you should get involved or run-away! When you visit the United States, you are culturally blind to the subtle differences, cultural background (and all Americans come with cultural differences from their immigrant ancestors), and regional affectations.

Look to the categories on the right of this blog to see different categories of different men throughout the United States ---->

I am an American woman. I've dated lots and through work I meet all kinds of young men and find them all fascinating. Being an American, we think we understand their differences and then realize that there are clear similarities between most American men that make them "Americans".

Don't take this blog very seriously either...these are sweeping generalizations that are apt to upset every American man-type I write about. Secretly, they know it's true.
